Notation Common Terms
This illustration provides a summary of common terms that are associated with Standard Music Notion. They are more or less like our body parts. We all have the same parts. Once you learn them they never change. 
We should be aware of the basic music staff. The staff has five lines. Bar lines divide the
staff into smaller segments called measures. Guitar chord symbols are placed above the staff.
The diagonal lines (////) within the measures each indicates one smooth chord stroke. Play the Sample Strums. |
