The C7 chord rounds-out our basic chord vocabulary. This powerful and useful chord
is used in all types and styles of music. A unique aspect of the C7 chord is that
it can be moved up the fingerboard with very little trouble.
Simply muffle the first string. Do this by lightly touching the first with
your first finger (left-hand). Now only four strings will sound. Move the C7
up two frets and it becomes a D7 chord. Two more frets and it becomes an E7 chord.
One more fret and you have F7 chord. |
