Introducing Barre Chords II
Congratulations, you have made it through the first Barre chord forms.
Now we will continue with additional Barre chord forms. Notice the dashed line in the
C Major diagram.
This indicates that the Barre is formed at the fifth fret on the fingerboard.
The Barre will cover the 4, 3, and 2nd strings at the fifth fret. The first finger will
play the Root tone on the 5th string. ![]() We are starting the form on the third fret and not the first fret. It is a little easier to finger, thus play, starting on the third fret. Again, these forms are not easy. You will have to wiggle and adjust your fingers to become comfortable with these forms. |
